Nathan Johnson

Nathan Johnson serves as Regional Director of Community Health Investment for Providence Alaska.  Nathan is responsible for community health needs assessments, community health improvement planning, and community partnership investment funding.  Prior to joining Providence in 2009, Nathan served as Community Health Planning and Preparedness Division Manager for the Anchorage Health Department.  In addition, Nathan has 5 years legislative policy experience working in the Alaska State Legislature.  Nathan did his undergraduate work at Metropolitan State University of Denver and graduate work at the University of Alaska Anchorage School of Business. In addition to serving on the thread board, Nathan also serves as Board President of the Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness Board.  He is honored to be a previous recipient of Alaska’s Top Forty Under 40 designation.  Nathan is also the proud and enthusiastic father of a 9-year-old boy, Coen.
