Limited Time Opportunity
Applications are now open for the Alaska SEED Registry and ServicePortal Quality Initiative. Early educators can earn $750 for completing the Quality Initiative requirements. Individuals who are current/active in the Alaska SEED Registry and operating or working as a paid employee of a licensed or approved child care facility are eligible to apply.
CDA Application/Renewal Award
CDA Application/Renewal Awards provide early childhood professionals in Alaska with funding of up to $500 for one CDA application or renewal fee per person, per State fiscal year (July 1–June 30), pre-paid directly to the Council for Professional Recognition or as a reimbursement to the applicant.
Professional Development Reimbursement (PDR)
Professional Development Reimbursements (PDR) provide early childhood and school-age professionals residing in Alaska with funding of up to $1,500 per fiscal year (July 1–June 30) for higher education and/or training. The PDR form must be submitted within 60 business days of completion of education/training.
Travel Reimbursements (TR)
Travel Reimbursements (TR) must be pre-approved by Alaska SEED and assist early childhood and school-age professionals in Alaska with up to $1,000 per State fiscal year (July 1–June 30) for travel expenses for education/training directly related to early childhood and/or school-age education (birth-age 12), health and safety, facility administration, or topics directly related to working with young children. The Pre-Travel Reimbursement (Pre-TR) Application must be submitted and approved at least 21 days prior to the actual travel dates.
