Stephanie Berglund, the CEO of thread, is one of six nonprofit leaders selected for the 2017 Rasmuson Foundation Sabbatical Program. The goal of the program is to provide non profit executives with extended time away from their job for personal renewal and growth pursuits.
Receiving the Rasmuson Foundatin Sabbatical Award allows Ms. Berglund the opportunity to spend quality time with her family, reflect on her leadership position, celebrate her past accomplishments, and refocus her vision for the future of early care and learning in Alaska. She will be taking several months off during the spring/summer and return to thread rejuvenated and poised to continue advocating for Alaska’s families and young children.
