Friday, May 12, is National Provider Appreciation Day. On this day we honor those who nurture, teach, and care for children in multiple settings across the country; however, it is important that we recognize these individuals year-round for the critical role they serve in providing high-quality child care.
Child Care Aware® of America has joined with partners to highlight exceptional early childhood educators on a monthly basis. Their Provider of the Month award recognizes early childhood educators who exemplify extraordinary qualities and characteristics. The Provider of the Month will be featured in a Child Care of Aware® of America blog post, highlighted in various e-newsletter publications by Provider Appreciation Day partners, and their story shared on social media and to their local news outlets.
