DEED Offers Webinar on Developmental Assessment

August 24, 2017

Schools across Alaska are welcoming new kindergarten students this month. Over the next few weeks, teachers will be observing each kindergarten student and providing an assessment required by state law called the Alaska Developmental Profile (ADP). The purpose of the Alaska Developmental Profile is to identify, record, and summarize the skills and behaviors students demonstrate at the beginning of their kindergarten year, based on teacher observations.

To help schools and teachers who will be providing this assessment, the Department of Education and Early Development is hosting a statewide webinar, which will be held on two separate occasions:

Wednesday, August 23, 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm
