5 Steps for a Healthier Home

Today in America, nearly one in three children are overweight or obese. Parents and caregivers play a major role in creating a healthy environment at home and teaching healthy habits to children. Here are 5 simple steps to build a healthier home from Let’s Move!, an initiative launched by First Lady Michelle Obama to solve the problem of childhood obesity.

  2. Make physical activity a part of your family’s routine.

  4. Reduce screen time and get active.
  5. Organize a school health team.
