Kids’ Corps, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit serving low-income families with young children through Head Start, Early Head Start, and Parents as Teachers programs in Anchorage, Alaska. Providing employees interesting, challenging, meaningful work that positively impacts the Anchorage community since 1990. Work hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (year round or part year August through May both available)
Classification: Nonexempt (Hourly employee)
Reports to: Center Director
Supervises: Gives input to Center Director on Assistant Teacher performance
Position requires one of the following:
- Current Center Based Preschool or Infant Toddler Child Development Associate Credential (CDA)
- State of Alaska Seed Practitioner Certificate Level Six or higher and willingness to obtain CDA within 6 months of hire
- An AA or BA degree with at least four (3-credit) courses in early childhood
Applicants who do not possess a degree in early childhood or related field must agree to take additional classes to meet Head Start Teacher Qualification Requirements.

Bachelor’s Degree $27.14
Graduate Degree $31.00
Introductory Period: 90 Days
We are currently offering a $500 sign-on bonus and additional $500 bonus after completing the 90 day probation period. We also offer a $250 Covid vaccination stipend if provided with proof of full vaccination.
