We are excited to present thread’s Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2021 (July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021).
In FY21, Alaska’s families and early childhood educators experienced daily challenges from the impact of COVID-19. thread distributed stabilization funds to the early childhood field and supported families in returning to child care. thread has since continued its work to support the stabilization of Alaska’s child care system and workforce challenges. thread believes that child care should be recognized as essential infrastructure for our economy, and the policy solutions thread spotlighted during COVID will result in change for child care in Alaska.
