September 20 to 26 is National Child Passenger Safety Week, raising awareness about the importance of choosing the right car seat for your child, installing it correctly, and buckling up properly. It could save your child’s life.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTA) encourages you to follow these important steps to choose the right seat, install it correctly, and keep your child safe.

- The Center for Safe Alaskans is hosting 30-minute virtual car seat sessions on Thursdays throughout September. Sessions are presented by a nationally certified Child Safety Technician. A limited number of car seats are available for distribution. Register here.
