Your efforts really made a big difference for the children in our community. This opportunity provided exempt programs with the critical funding that was so desperately needed.
Stephanie, I want to offer you my sincere gratitude for all the conversation you initiated about exempt licensed programs and the struggles we face. Advocating for our cause brought our plight to the forefront of many organizations. Without your support and effort, I am not so sure we would have been successful in receiving funding. I am also grateful that thread included exempt licensed programs in your last round of OF grants: Quality Initiative 2.
Having our businesses accessible – offers local parents needed relief to manage other obligations, knowing that their children are being cared for. In addition, with the funding we received, we were able to continue to offer scholarships to needy families in our community.
Thanks to you, Anchorages’ local families will continue to have access to high quality preschool. Instead of our youngest children missing out on a critical learning period in their lives, the funding that we received allowed us to keep our doors open and our programs running.
