Job Description
Honeybee Preschool is an educational play-based school for children ages 3-6 years old. We are currently seeking a teacher and an aid for the school year. This position is a temporary, school year based position with maximum hours as needed per week.
In this position you will:
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate learning
- Model respectful behavior towards all children, staff, and parents or guardians
- Assistant children's needs and development
Required qualifications for this position include:
- At least 18 years of age
- Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certification or within 30 days of hire date
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 year of child care experience
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
- Willingness and ability to acquire additional training (20 hours each year)
- Must be able to lift 40lbs, Ability to bend, kneel, or stoop to assist children
- Interested persons report, Release of information and fingerprinting (as required by MOA child care licensing)
