Job Description
School Age Program (August - May) Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Pay: $17.50/hour *$18.02/hour after 6 months*
Available Locations:
Aquarian - Alpenglow - Chugiak - Government Hill - O'Malley - Ravenwood - Sand Lake - Scenic Park
Position:
Program Staff: Work between 20 -25 hours per week (average), supervising activities with groups of youth.
4 hours daily of site time, up to 1-2 additional hours daily for meetings and trainings (times vary)
- Requirements –
- Minimum age limit is 16 years old (we are currently prioritizing staff 18 and older due to licensing ratio requirements)
- Ability to transport yourself to work (school site, Camp Fire office)
- Be flexible in work assignment (may be sent, as needed, to a different work location)
- Preferred -
- Experience working with kids in a group setting is preferred
- Experience, training, or education in youth development, education, or recreation is preferred
