Job Description
Position – Part-time Childcare Teacher Assistant
Summary – We're looking for applicants that love all children and have a strong desire to care for and teach them with a positive attitude daily.
Minimum education required
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass a background check (most)
- English language proficient
- Spanish/bilingual (preferred)
- Previous knowledge in Montessori Curriculum (environment) preferred
- No work experience in related occupation required
Job responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children.
- Prepare and organize mealtimes and snacks for children.
- Help children keep good hygiene.
- Change the diapers of infants and toddlers.
- Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allows children to learn about the world and explore their interests.
- Help with facility clerical work.
Employee expectations:
- Be on time to work every day.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Get up and down off the floor with ease.
- Be ready to learn and grow with us as a professional early educator. We have resources to provide employees with free training.
Work environment:
- This facility is a family home childcare.
Pay rate and hours:
- $15.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
- 15-25 hours a week
