Job Description
We believe the early years deserve extraordinary teachers, and we’re hiring someone for classroom support, operations support, or a combination of the two roles at our early learning center serving children ages 15 months to 5 years. We’re looking for someone who inspires curiosity, nurtures growth, and helps shape confident, compassionate learners. At our school, you’ll enjoy small class sizes with lower teacher-to-child ratios, the support of a family-like team (including administrators who started as teachers themselves), and the freedom to bring your unique teaching style into a strong curriculum framework. Our beautiful, inclusive environment celebrates every child and values the talents and contributions of every teacher.
Our program is child-centered and teacher-supported, drawing inspiration from Reggio Emilia, Montessori, Piaget, and the Project Approach. We use Teaching Strategies/Creative Curriculum® to design engaging lessons that follow children’s emerging interests while blending play, culture, and independence.
We are flexible with part- or full-time positions and can tailor the balance of responsibilities to emphasize classroom support, operations support, or a mix of both based on the candidate’s interests and skill set. Classroom support responsibilities may include planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons, creating a warm and inclusive classroom environment, fostering strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, observing and assessing student progress, maintaining an organized classroom, and participating in professional development and team meetings. Operations support responsibilities may include serving as the primary point of contact for staff schedules and coverage needs, mentoring teachers, addressing questions or minor conflicts, and coordinating onboarding for new hires. Additional administrative duties include maintaining licensing and compliance records, ordering supplies, tracking inventory, assisting with event planning and parent communications, and supporting the Director with project management and documentation.
