Job Description
- Supervise the care and education of a group of children and staff as assigned, providing constant supervision, and always maintain appropriate child to adult ratios.
- Maintain all operational requirements for a safe and healthy licensed childcare center, with a developmentally appropriate Christian program.
- Maintain up-to-date records as required by the Fairbanks North Star Borough, the state of Alaska, and the federal government.
- Maintain classroom environment, maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy place for the children.
- Maintain a safe and healthy playground and gym.
- Develops and implements developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
- Ensures that the selected curriculum is implemented.
- Maintain compliance with Child Care Food Program and recording meal count from/or requiring assistant to perform task.
- Assist in the selection, training and supervision of the assistant teacher is required.
- Attends quarterly services.
- Keeps current on licensing required trainings.
