Nominate them for either the Cindy Harrington Heart & Mind Award or the Legacy Award!
The Cindy Harrington Award is bestowed on an individual currently working in a licensed child care program in Alaska who exemplifies passion, strength, and professionalism. Special consideration is given to individuals who have overcome barriers in achieving professional growth and demonstrated generosity of spirit in helping others.
The Legacy Award honors an individual who has made significant contributions to strengthening and advancing the quality of early childhood education in Alaska. This includes individuals who have worked directly in a licensed child care program or those who have actively worked to advance licensed and high-quality child care across the state. The nominee should currently be working in, or have recently retired from a licensed child care program in the state of Alaska, or have made notable contributions to the field in other impactful ways.
