thread, in partnership with the Anchorage Child Care and Early Education Board (ACCEE), would like to provide an update regarding the 2026 Steady Child Care: Municipality of Anchorage Child Care and Early Education Sector Stimulus Program.
To ensure a thoughtful and equitable distribution of funds, additional time has been needed to finalize the funding formula. As a result, the program’s timeline has been adjusted, and funding payments will not be distributed in May as originally anticipated.
At this time, thread begins processing and distributing payments in July 2026.
We recognize that these funds are important to supporting child care and early education programs, and we appreciate your patience as we work together to ensure funding is distributed fairly, accurately, and in alignment with the goals of the program.
