The way Alaskans vote is changing this year! In the 2020 General Election, voters approved an initiative to establish a Ranked Choice Voting General Election system. Ranked Choice Voting allows voters to rank candidates in order of preference. This year, Alaska will be using Ranked Choice Voting to elect the offices of Governor, US Senator, US Representative, and 59 out of 60 State Senate & House Representatives. Whew! To make sure you are ready on November 8, join Shirley Pittz from the League of Women Voters of Anchorage for this free, interactive training on how Ranked Choice Voting works and key election dates.
