Travel to DC and Tell Congress About Your Child Care Experiences

January 16, 2020

Do you know a family who wants to take Washington, DC by storm and turn their Members of Congress into champions for babies? ZERO TO THREE needs your help!

More than ever, Congress is turning its attention to issues that impact young children and families, including child care and paid leave. As they make decisions, they need to hear directly from working families in their communities.

On May 5, ZERO TO THREE is bringing families, including children, from all 50 states and the District of Columbia to Capitol Hill for the 4th annual Strolling Thunder™.

This year, families will share their stories about finding quality, affordable child care and the need for paid family and medical leave. They’ll urge their Members of Congress to Think Babies and Act™ – for stronger families, vibrant communities, and a more prosperous country.

Want to represent Alaska? Congress needs to hear from you in person! Bring your baby, your stroller and your story, and ZERO TO THREE will help with the rest.

If you’d like to be considered to represent your state for Strolling Thunder, complete the interest form before Feb. 7, 2020! ZERO TO THREE will cover travel costs for you, your child(ren) under the age of three, and one travel companion.

You must be available to travel to Washington, DC May 3 – 6, 2020.
