CCPO Broadcast: Exploring Changes for Continuous Improvement in May and June

May 13, 2022

The following broadcast was released by the Child Care Program Office on May 12, 2022.

The Child Care Program Office is sharing an opportunity on behalf of First Children’s Finance. Please see their message below:

Attention Child Care Providers!

We want to hear from you! First Children’s Finance (FCF), with support from the Child Care Program Office, is engaging in conversations with child care providers across Alaska to better understand their experience with the Child Care Assistance Program.

First Children’s Finance (FCF) wants to learn about your experience with:

  • The Child Care Assistance Program including rates, reimbursement processes, and the authorization process
  • School age care
  • The Child Care Grant program

First Children’s Finance (FCF) will be leading and holding these conversations. What you share will be used to shape changes to the Child Care Assistance program. Everything you share will be anonymous and will not impact your relationships with the Child Care Program Office. FCF will share back information with the Child Care Program Office and the Division of Public Assistance at a summary level. Participation is voluntary.

Conversations will take place via Zoom. Everyone who participates will be entered in a raffle for a $50 Visa gift card to express our gratitude for sharing your time and experiences.

We are keeping the groups for these conversations small so we can hear from everyone who attends. To help us do that, please register ahead of time on Zoom. If registration shows as closed that means we’ve hit our registration limit. We thank you for your interest!

If you are interested, please register for one of the upcoming conversations:
