The COVID-19 Alaska SEED ROOTS (Retaining Our Outstanding Teachers) Award assist those programs and educators working tirelessly to support Alaska’s children and families during the COVID-19 pandemic. thread is honored by the opportunity to help stabilize and strengthen early childhood education in Alaska.

Support for Early Childhood Educators

Alaska’s early childhood and school-age educators, who have been on the frontlines since the start of the pandemic, are also in need of financial assistance, which is why Alaska SEED is offering the COVID-19 Alaska SEED ROOTS Award. Individual early childhood, or school-age, educators meeting the eligibility requirements can receive $500 per person. Deadline to apply is June 30, 2021.
