Alaska SEED Trainer and Training Approval System

Take the next step in your career, become an Alaska SEED approved trainer to deliver consistent, high-quality training statewide. The goal of the Alaska SEED Trainer and Training Approval System is to ensure the quality of professional development for early childhood and school-age educators in Alaska. As a result, trainers meet consistent standards and training contains high-quality content that reflects current research.

The Alaska SEED Trainer and Training System is a voluntary system that aligns with the Alaska SEED Registry, is based around Core Knowledge and Competencies and Alaska’s Early Learning Guidelines, and is delivered in a way that reflects how adults learn best. By implementing this system, Alaska joins 25 states that have a Trainer Approval System and 20 states that have a Training Approval System.

Anyone who provides training can apply to become an Alaska SEED-approved Trainer and complete a Training Approval application for all of
the training they provide.
