Grow means the program is:<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">learning about quality and has just begun to develop a quality improvement process plan<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color:#ea6847\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Programs who have achieved <strong>Level 2<\/strong> of Learn &amp; Grow means the program has:<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">completed specific training for teachers and the administrators<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">begun to make improvements in their indoor and outdoor learning environments beyond basic health and safety requirements<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">begun to assess the program\u2019s family engagement practices and learn how to further partner with families<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color:#ea6847\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Programs who have achieved <strong>Level 3<\/strong> means the program has:<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">enhanced policies and practices to support all children including children with special needs.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">researched and identified curriculum and child assessment tools to use<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Begun to use developmental and social emotional screening tools to help monitor children\u2019s development<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">completed training for teachers and administrators to support use of curriculum, child assessment, understanding implicit bias and culturally responsive practices<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">developed and begun to implement policies and practices to support children\u2019s social emotional development and reduce exclusionary practices<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">developed policies and aligned resources to support professional development opportunities for staff to advance their careers<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">worked with a trained early childhood coach and set aside time for teachers to plan<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">provided opportunities for parents to participate in their child\u2019s learning experiences and ensuring families have access to supports and resources<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color:#ea6847\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Programs who have achieved<strong> Level 4 <\/strong>means the program has:<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">used curriculum and child assessment to inform development of culturally responsive and inclusive lesson plans.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">worked with early childhood coaches and EC mental health specialist (when needed) to ensure all children in the program can successfully engage with their peers and the learning environment<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">provided opportunities for families and staff to provide input on program instruction and embed cultural activities that represent their family<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">set aside funding and resources to help teachers continue their educational advancement<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">developed multiple opportunities for families to connect with other families, learn about child development, be involved in their child\u2019s learning, and be connected to community resources<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color:#ea6847\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Programs who have achieved <strong>Level 5<\/strong> means that programs has:<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">financial resources to maintain all quality activities associated with levels 1-4<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">acquired own internal early childhood coaches to assist teachers with lesson plans and any individualization to meet all children\u2019s needs<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color:#7e7d7e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">embedded a continuous quality improvement philosophy and practices culture in their program<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Learn &amp;
