The following broadcast was released by the Alaska Department of Health Child Care Program Office on June 14, 2024.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public Hearing Teleconference: June 18, 2024, 12-2pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a reminder that the Child Care Program Office (CCPO) is soliciting public comment on Alaska\u2019s Draft 2025-2027 Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Plan. Public comments will be considered in the final draft of the Plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may submit oral comments at the public hearing to be held via<\/strong> teleconference on<\/strong> June 18, 2024, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.<\/strong>  If you would like to comment during the oral public hearing. Instructions for doing so are below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Call the teleconference number: 1 (800) 893-7840<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. You will be asked to say your name for the recording, and then press #.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. You will be entered into the teleconference.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Once you are in the teleconference, you can press *5 to be added to the que for providing a comment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. When it is your turn for comment, we will call your name and you will be unmuted and able to speak.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    You may also comment on the draft CCDF Plan by submitting written<\/strong> comments to the Department of Health, Child Care Program Office, 3601 C Street, Suite 140, Anchorage, AK 99503. Additionally, the Department of Health will accept comments by fax<\/strong> at (907) 269-4536 and by email<\/strong> at christina.hulquist@alaska.gov<\/a>. The comments must be received not later than 5 p.m. AKDT on June 19, 2024.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
