{"id":5520,"date":"2021-09-30T08:05:00","date_gmt":"2021-09-30T16:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.threadalaska.org\/learn-and-grow\/blog\/learn-grow-policies-procedures-update"},"modified":"2024-05-22T13:21:20","modified_gmt":"2024-05-22T21:21:20","slug":"learn-grow-policies-procedures-update","status":"publish","type":"learn-and-grow-blog","link":"https:\/\/www.threadalaska.org\/learn-and-grow\/blog\/learn-grow-policies-procedures-update","title":{"rendered":"Learn &amp; Grow Policies &amp; Procedures Reinstated October 1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In May 2020, Learn &amp; Grow updated its policies and procedures to support participating Learn &amp; Grow programs during COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Learn &amp; Grow has been pleased to extend program expiration deadlines during this time.&nbsp; Based on feedback from the field, Learn &amp; Grow will soon be returning to pre-COVID policies and procedures.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Starting October 1, 2021<\/strong>, expired and almost expired programs will need to renew their Learn &amp; Grow status in order to continue participation.  \u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If your program previously exited Learn &amp; Grow, you are welcome to re-enroll on Oct. 1. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Learn &amp; Grow recognizes that staying actively engaged in the Learn &amp; Grow process takes time and commitment.&nbsp; <strong>thread\u2019s<\/strong> Specialists are here to help you complete the required documents and process prior to Oct. 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Learn &amp; Grow offers programs many benefits including a complete five-level framework for achieving a high-quality program, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.threadalaskatools.org\/utility-pages\/log-in\/?redirectUrl=\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>thread<\/strong> Tools<\/a> \u2014 an online resource library, and support from a <strong>thread<\/strong> Specialist.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a reminder, all <strong>thread<\/strong> trainings are free through the end of June 2022 and are available online statewide.
