Alaska SEED Launches Online Reimbursement Applications

September 4, 2020

It’s now even easier to get reimbursed for your training costs! Alaska SEED is pleased to announce the launch of new online forms to simplify the application process for financial support.

Every year Alaska SEED awards thousands of dollars to early childhood and school-age professionals in Alaska to support their professional development. Alaska SEED’s new online Google Forms allow you to complete the application and upload any required documentation in minutes.

Get started by creating a free Google Account, and then click the links below to apply for one or all of these reimbursements through June 30:

  • Professional Development Reimbursement (PDR): Get up to $1,500 for training, conferences, or higher education related to early childhood education.
  • Travel Reimbursement (TR): Get up to $1,000 for mileage, airfare, or lodging to attend early childhood training or higher education within Alaska.
  • CDA Application/Renewal Award: Apply for or renew your Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and Alaska SEED will reimburse you or pre-pay the fee directly to the Council for Professional Recognition.

Prefer a paper application? You can still download a PDF file to fill out on your computer or print and complete by hand. These paper applications have a brand new look to make it easier to follow the requirements and deadlines for each reimbursement. Spanish versions of the paper applications are coming soon.

We’re excited to hear what you think of the new process! Contact Alaska SEED with any comments or questions at info@seedalaska.org.
