Community

Learning doesn't start at kindergarten, it starts at birth. That is why programs that provide early care and education services play such an important role in the growth and development of young children. In addition to helping ensure that children arrive at school ready to succeed, early care and education programs enable parents to meet the financial needs of their families and businesses to attract and retain a high quality workforce.

Take Action

Many Alaska Leaders are talking about child outcomes and how to improve children's readiness to learn and their overall success in formal school. At thread we realize that quality child care plays a major role in this preparation.

Get Involved

thread encourages our community to get involved in policy level discussions about early care and education.

For Employers
